I was first introduced to Drug Cabin last summer by my dear friend Didi. He bought their record (like, actual vinyl) at a random store on Fairfax because the album artwork looked just his style.
It turns out it was, and he listened to it for days endlessly. After lying on his floor in an altered state, I decided One Face was one of my favorite songs of all time.
Later we came to find out that the record player was on the wrong setting and was playing everything considerably slower than it was intended. I can’t listen to One Face the way I’m supposed to now… so I slowed it down. As many of you don’t know, I have a long awaited (by 3 of my friends) EP of remixes titled BeyondSlow that eventually after I chop this guy up some more it will probably be in there too.
